I just started attending a new church with my 9 month old and discovered to my disappointment that she is expected to stay in a nursery during service every Sunday. Is this the broader culture at church here or are there any churches that do welcome children and babies ?

Most churches I have been to have nursery during service.

In regards to a kid friendly church, are you looking for churches with active children's ministries?

Not necessarily looking for children's ministries because the church I attend has all manner of children's education and bible study, etc. I am really just curious if there are any churches that allow or encourage children to attend the actual Sunday services, since that is what I'm used to having grown up in such a church and found it to be a better experience for me and for sure better experience for my kid. Thanks for your help!
