I posted this in the Charleston forum, but figured I'd swing a wider net here. I'm going to be picking up a camping hammock and would love to find some place on the coast that's okay with hanging it for a Saturday or Sunday to lounge and relax a bit. I'm sensitive to the concern about damaging trees, so I intend to only use straps with no hardware. I'm interested in anywhere between Myrtle Beach and HHI. I've already contacted the park service about Hunting Island when it re-opens, and they said it was okay, but I'd be interested in other suggestions in that range of the coast.
While I'd love a place that's out of the way, I'm resigned to the fact that there's really no out of the way places along the coast any more, maybe with the exception of Bulls Island, but I figure it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Thanks!
Bull Island is off limits unless you get a special permit to go there.
