I wonder how much of the Best Career Services is the result of having an ever growing upstate economy? I guess it's easy to place kids in internships when you have so many international companies within an hour radius of your campus.

One thing that probably helps career services is that so many majors require and organize co-ops and internships. So the kids are using them during college instead of simply the second half of the last semester. And having so many students with some professional experience probably helps the college entice employers/recruiters for their events and services.

I'm surprised the internship ranking wasn't higher but also a little surprised at how high intermural and town-gown relations are. Also a little surprised at the alumni network ranking. I went to Clemson but know people from several colleges who I think have much tighter/more loyal alumni networks.
