Best variety of bamboo for Midlands in SC? (Columbia: privacy, summer)

I am looking to plant clumping bamboo for a privacy screen and need a variety that grows at least 15 feet tall and can handle Columbia's hot summer and sometimes cold temps in winter. Has anyone had success with this? What variety of bamboo do you have?

Make sure you do get a clumping bamboo. Running bamboo is invasive and becomes a real problem in a hurry.
