We are considering moving to SC because we just cannot afford a house here in Connecticut. I'm just wondering if you guys might know if I would get paid less in SC than I do here. If so, any idea how much less? Just wondering how much to spend on a house. There's so many to choose from what I can see. I am in IT, making about 43K here. Thanks.

Oops...just found the salary thing at Monster. Looks like similar pay for me.

Salary.com shows the cost of living to be about 16% less here (Greenville, SC). I compared it to Bridgeport, CT.

Try it and see what you get.
