Default relocating from NYC to North Carolina...again

im very new to this so i don't know how to modify my previous post. ok, i know that my husband needs to find employment first, however, i just need some guidance as to an area that describes what i want out of a community..(family oriented neighborhood, affordable, and with good schools.) i know nothing really about south carolina except that it is beautiful and in my price range. can someone please help me focus in on a few towns that fit my criteria. i would appreciate any suggestions that you may have.

Are you moving to North or South Carolina?

IF you are moving to NC, then I would recomend Matthews. The Charlotte area is BOOMING for jobs.

We have lived here since October for a project. If we were going to settle down, I would have moved to the Matthews area. It is beautiful! The area is also accessable to shopping, highway, etc. I am not sure about the school system.

If you have any questions, let me know!

What do you consider affordable... and what is your "price range"? Do you prefer rural, coastal or closer to a city?
