I HAVE SOME LAND IN LAKE CITY, THINKING ABOUT GETTING A HOUSE BUILT ON IT, WANT TO KNOW HOW IS lAKE CITY AREA, SCHOOLS ETC.

I'm not sure what you know about Lake City but most of my family lives in the other small towns around Lake City (Scranton and Coward) and it is a small country town. The schools have kids from all the small towns surrounding. I didn't go to school there but my cousin did and she received a pretty decent education. If you would like to know more specifics just let me know.
