HI, we are looking into possibilities of moving to SC but don't know where to find this type of property:

Small house with at least 10 acres ( preferably more) with some woods. Or acreage with access to electricity to build a house. Are there any such properties for sale like that you know of? Details? We would like to be pretty rural with light population.

What type of soils if anyone knows in their areas. Like are they mostly clay or sand/clay mix etc...?

What about vehicles? Are there tax on the cars like I've heard? If so, could we please have an idea how much? Is this tax like what some states called a 'registration fee'? or is there a registration fee on top of the tax?

We are not particular where we buy property at, it depends on the factors above among other things.

If there are other details about certain areas we should know about like flood zones, etc... or anything else you could shed some light on....

Thanks in advance for any info given

Your best best is calling a realty company and getting an agent specializing in raw land development.

Is is available? Of course, if you have the budget anything is available.

He/She/they can also help you with other questions.

Best of luck.

"...but don't know where to find this type of property:"
an intensive Google search will give you a clue.

You do realize South Carolina is a big state much of it rural. Narrow down where you want to live, upstate, midstate or coastal. Soil can be clay as in the upstate, a mix in the midstate, and sand coastal. Yes, you can find what you want in South Carolina but it would be advantageous to figure out where in the state you want to live. You might use Zillow and do a"more" search and fill in your criterias. For example when I put in 10-20 acres I found many including this https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1...20407062_zpid/
