Hopefully someone can help me. I've been attending Cedar Creek for several months now and on a scale of 1-10 of what I'm looking for in a church, I would give it a 6 or 7. I LOVE the message, it is always relevant to life as we know it today. However, I'm finding some things missing:
Communion every Sunday A "quiet" time during communion for the congregation to personally speak to God Contemporary music -- something like a pep rally for Jesus -- "I am a Friend of God" or "Our God is an Awesome God" are prime examples. Is there such an "animal" in the Aiken area? Thank you so much. |

Have you tried Millbrook on Pine Log? Although they do not have communion every Sunday, they might be a better fit. Most Baptist churches have done away with communion weekly and instead do it monthly. If you are looking for communion every week, a Catholic church might be better. We like Millbrook and my parents have recently moved here and love New Covenant Presbyterian off of 118.
Finding a church home is hard, we still have not found ours... Good Luck! |

And by the way --when the band played "Friend of God" several Sundays ago I knew I had found my church home! To me, that is God's message to me that I am where He wants me to be. |
