Church near Aiken
Hopefully someone can help me. I've been attending Cedar Creek for several months now and on a scale of 1-10 of what I'm looking for in a church, I would give it a 6 or 7. I LOVE the message, it is always relevant to life as we know it today. However, I'm finding some things missing:
Communion every Sunday A "quiet" time during communion for the congregation to personally speak to God Contemporary music -- something like a pep rally for Jesus -- "I am a Friend of God" or "Our God is an Awesome God" are prime examples. Is there such an "animal" in the Aiken area? Thank you so much.

Have you tried Millbrook on Pine Log? Although they do not have communion every Sunday, they might be a better fit. Most Baptist churches have done away with communion weekly and instead do it monthly. If you are looking for communion every week, a Catholic church might be better. We like Millbrook and my parents have recently moved here and love New Covenant Presbyterian off of 118.
Finding a church home is hard, we still have not found ours... Good Luck!
