Good for the Gamecocks winning. But standing for the national anthem should not be political. This country has given them such great opportunities that now they go to the WNBA or whatever career they choose, the doors will open for them. Is the US a flawed country? Yep. But so much better than most other countries in this world.
If these players can't figure that out, they shouldn't be playing the game.
You’re trying to make the argument that just because one person made it that means everyone should. “I don’t like McDonalds, there for everyone doesn’t like McDonald’s.” You’re generalizing again.
They also changed their tune last night. Never to late to do the right thing.
Oh well, I didn't watch it due to their protest of the previous game.
The local media showed a LOT of Caucasian supporters that spent a lot of money to go to the game to back the team. I guess they are were all racist tho.

The snowflake accusation from a person that is/was in your state of mind regarding covid is incredible.
A snowflake is somebody who wants to censor other people. Criticizing somebody for a position and choosing not to watch a game is not trying to cancel them.
It is a non violent form of protest, something you say you support.
Most of the national examples given by 'social justice' people of 'systemic racism' don't fit the narrative if you know the facts. Jussie Smollet is a recent example of this. If there is system racism in this country, why did Jussie need to pay two black men from another continent to beat him up or stage it.
All of the 'social justice' people were promoting Jussie's implausible hoax.

A Facebook friend and former news reporter posted on his feed yesterday that the team came out for the National Anthem and was immediately told he was wrong and that they stayed inside the locker room, SMH. Screen shots of the team standing during the Anthem may have convinced the person responding, but they never came back to say one way or the other, LOL Protesting the anthem does not bother me. It's a free country. I just want to see a game.
