I have read several threads posted regarding moving to SC. I currenly reside in SC and absolutely love it. My other half and I are located in Walterboro, SC. He is a state trooper and I am a office administrator for the locate coop. We decided about a year ago to put our money into investing in houses. My uncle is a contractor and he actually builds the houses for us.

Hi - I'm living in Vermont and want to move to SC within two years. I plan to put my house on the market soon and if I haven't found a place by the time it sells, I will rent some place for a year and look around. I want to be as close to the ocean as possible and I can spend only $125,000 or so...any suggestions? I'd love a cottage with 1-2 bedrooms. I am 62, alone except for two cats who need a yard and a few mice. Any advice? thanks
