No, but part of the Charlotte, NC MSA is in South Carolina (York County).

Don't know if there is a Charlotte SC, I've never heard of it, but there are cities with the name Charlotte all over the USA.

These days, Fort Mill pretty much represents Charlotte's extension in SC.

DCtransplant is on a distinguished road
Fort Mill isn't the only area in SC that is growing up next to Charlotte. There is also Lancaster County(Indian Land).
