Default Your favorite Town/City in South Carolina!

There are so many great people with so much information on this board.
I was wondering. What is your favorite place in South Carolina?
Why is it your favorite place?
Did you chose to live there, or somewhere close by?

My fav is CHARLESTON. No I don't live there, but I would like to. I live in Columbia, and it's great too.

Sullivans Island, Edisto, downtown Charleston, downtown Columbia, and Lake Wateree. I'd bet there are some really nice places in the upstate I've never been to

I have friends/relatives in SC. Some towns I really enjoy are Greenville/Spartanburg (where I'd live if I were to move to SC. It just has a very nice quality of life)

Charleston (we love visiting there. One of the most beautiful cities in the nation)

Newberry (nice, little, Mayberry-type college town)
