Question Anyone living in Anderson, SC??

My wife and I are seniors who no longer drive and now live in Pickens, SC.
We are thinking of relocating to Anderson because it has public transportation
(City Bus) Can someone familiar with this let me know if the bus service is reliable or are they planning to discontinue it. It would not be so good if we moved there and then found out that the city has no money to keep the service going.
Thanks

I go to Tri-County Technical College which is less than five minutes from Clemson so I can help you out here. There's two bus services in the area. Electric City Transit serves the Anderson community and Clemson Area Transit serves the Pendleton, Clemson, Seneca, and Central area. CAT and ECT both go to the Walmart/Sams Club in Anderson so you can hop off an ECT bus and get on a CAT bus or vice-versa there. ECT costs money to ride and CAT is FREE to ride. CAT is the largest fare-free bus system in the country.
