Stacey M. is on a distinguished road
You are a true Gentleman Carolina jack.(Northern or Southern) My husband and I transplanted to Bluffton from Pittsburgh. It took some time to adjust. but there is no way I'll ever leave, when you let go of what you think things should be and accept the way they are and the beauty around you. All seems right with our little world. I have to let you know I kayaked? right through that rice plantation a couple of years ago. I had goose bumps just thinking of the history that place holds. you are a good man Jack! And from now on I am going to use your quote "it makes us all better people to forgive and look forward" There's not a sole out there that can't use that advise.

if you love SC why are you asking about moving to charlottesville and what type of community it is, you are searching for a place for your family - why not live in SC since you (as I) love it?

yes, i did, in high school Nausikaa, is there a law against it?

and to williamsburg, I was asking about the charlottesville, charlotte, Virginia Beach and Austin areas as possible alternatives, and I think raliegh durham, alternatives before coming back home permanently.

I am not sure why this has become an attack carolinajack for asking questions about places and sharing views on MP or other places forum now.

thank you so much Stacey

Don't pay no nevermind to them, CarolinaJack, I and many others enjoy reading your reflections on South Carolina. The fact that you can address north/south, racial and religious issues with a calm and steadfast disposition is to your credit. Just because I don't always chime in, doesn't mean I'm not paying attention.

Well, since he lives in Pennsylvania, and grew up on a ranch in Texas, I don't know how much he knows about SC?? He is welcome to visit though.

Anyone who is the least bit familiar with Charleston, or the Low Country for that matter, knows that you can only gain the detailed information you have by spending plenty of time in the area. I am very envious of your travels, you should think of writing a novel. And you can tell all of your critics, FRANKLY MY DEAR I DON'T GIVE A D*?N WHAT YOU THINK!!! God Bless!!

well, it's good entertainment alright. if you look at all of his past posts, by clicking on his name, he is posting in loads of diffeent states, with full knowledge of all of them, having been educated in all of them, etc. trouble is, it all happened at all the same time, in all the states. it's hilarious. he does make a good travel agency spokesman though. quite lovely!
