Default manufactured housing communities

Hi again, does anyone know where/if there are any resident owned manufactured home communities (land is owned rather than leased) like any other residental community. We are looking into all options, site built/resale/manufactured etc. Not interested in gated/private golf/marina etc just a nice community. Spoke with a R/E agent but said "you'll have to check out the individual counties/cities/towns" hopefully this forum might be faster. I'm interested in NC/SC/TN but started with SC because I've spent more time there & was impressed with what I'd seen. Thanks

Best resource is www.realtor.com. You can put in "manufactured home" in your search. SC is full of manuf. home communities. We have several in Easley. One is up the 183 going toward Dacusville. It's name is Caramel-something. I'm sorry I do not know the entire name. I do know one of those homes is for sale. It was in the paper on Sun. Prudential is the realty co selling it. This particular community has mountain views. I have driven up that way in the past and passed this area.

Good luck with your search!
