Couple traveling to Mountville/Greenwood this weekend and desperate to find a room for Sat night...and we have our dog.
Only hotel in Greenwood that takes dogs (EconoLodge) is booked solid. One in Clinton, but we'd like to be closer to Greenwood if possible.
Anyone ever heard anything about Lakeview Hotel? Is it decent? I'd like to know even before I call.
Any help is most appreciated!!

Lakeview looks very bad to me...... I wouldn't recommend it to a family member.
Did you try the Marriott and Hampton Inn? Maybe they will make an exception.
Also, the Jamieson Inn......they have lots of construction workers stay there so it is very blue collar but I think it safe and clean from all I know of it. As a last resort, call the Chamber of Commerce...they should know if a hotel is dog friendly. Oh, one more to try would be Inn on the Square....I bet they might allow it if it is a small dog. Good luck!
