Default possibly relocating needing help with finding rentals

My family could possibly be relocating for a job in the Columbia area, we too like to be in the country. We need a country home that allows us to have horses and other inside pets. Have a 12 yrs old daughter that I need to have in a good school. We are outdoory kinda people and dont want to have to drive to far to do some fishing. If anyone can give me any ideas as to where to look I would greatly apprecaite it. thanks

Heyy everyone, My name is Ashley. I am thinking about a move to SC in the future and would like to be somewhere in the country. I have no clue about where anything it there as I have never been. My fiance knows people form there (in easley) from a visit he made too long ago! Were looking for somthing in the country that is more of the private setting where if we decide to have a blow out party or even just a loud surround sound watching a movie, were not going to have a problem with neighbors. I have a three year son, so I need to be in a school distric that will teach him well and give him more than where he will go here in NY. It needs to b a safe school as where I live our middle and high schools are a bit rough. Kids get taken out daily for violent fighting where others go to the hosp. I dont want my son to grow up like that. If possible i wanna be close to Easley where my fiance knows people so we will at least have a friend or two! thanks in advance for the help.

I agree with the suggestion of Pickens County. It is paradise for fishermen. There are three lakes in the area... Hartwell (biggest and easiest access, the land around it is the upper piedmont with rolling hills), Keowee (smaller with clearer water, mountain views), and Jocassee (remote and at the bottom of some steep mountains.) You can also fish for trout on the Chattooga, Eastatoe or Saluda rivers.

One place in Pickens County you might look at would be Six Mile. I think DW Daniel High school near there is supposed to be pretty good.

You could also look in rural areas of Oconee, Anderson or Greenville counties.
