How in the world is going grocery shopping during church service on Sunday morning going to hurt anybody? Good thing I live in a metro area that is smarter than the rest of this backwards state.

I wasn't aware that only religious people were rednecks. BTW, rednecks are in every state in the US.
Please stop making Greenville into some sort of big city. If you really want to live in one then move there. Greenville is somewhat different then the rest of the state but not that different.

Ever heard of strict annexation laws? Call me when Columbia gets a Whole Foods Market and Costco like Greenville has. What new shopping center would that be? We have several proposed or under construction in the area.

You can buy alcohol on six out of seven days. What is one more day going to hurt? Most states allow alcohol sales all seven days of the week. Why doesn't South Carolina? Oh and you can buy alcohol any day of the week in the city limits of Greenville.
