Default Help! Low country questions...

I have some questions about Hilton Head/Bluffton area...If I wanted a nice acre or so in a quite area - safe for kids, not more than 30 minute commute to Savannah and about 20 min or less to a beach, what would you suggest? If you need any more specific details, please ask...

Pam

Default Need a little more info

There are a few newer developments that are selling 1+ acre lots in an area about 30 min. to Savannah and the Hilton Head Beaches. Most area developments offer smaller >1/2 acre home sites with more amenities (pool, workout facilities...) The developments I mentioned earlier do not offer the common community areas, but they offer larger lots. The only downside may be that you have to conform to the developers building guidelines. The guideline usually defines general structure style and square footage min. and max. The nice thing is that you have the option of picking your builder and home plans. Obviously these are completely custom homes.

There are other options closer to Savannah and further from the beach or Further from Savannah and closer to Beaufort.

It all comes down to your comfort zone with price range and timeframe.
