Default IT Schools & Jobs In South Carolina?

I'm back Hubby and I just had a wonderful 2 week R & R and during that time ironed out a clearer form of our hopes & dreams for the future. We definitely want to move closer to the coast, but also want to be able to live, eat and enjoy life without having to work crazy amounts of hours. Which is about what it would amount to with our current income level. So we are thinking about spending two more years in Indiana, long enough for hubby to get his associates in computer programming/computer technology, then head east if we can find our basic needs, which are

1. safe schools with quality education for our kids who will be 12, 10 and 5 at the time.

2. decent paying part or full time jobs for hubby and I. I am a massage therapist who will have 2 different national certifications, both recognized in SC, and hubby who will as stated above have an associates in computer programming/technology.

3. a recognized, accredited school that would allow him to transfer his credits/course work from his associates and use them toward his bachelors, as well as accept the GI bill, and with low enough tuition that after the 70% covered by the Bill we wouldn't be in the poor house when he recieves his degree.

We would love to live near the coast but realize from our research on the Summerville/Charleston area over the summer that this is probably not going to be feesible cost-of-living wise until after he finishes his degree. But we also realize that even the three to five hours from the western end of the state to the coast{according to google maps} is better than the current almost half-day's drive we are from here to there.
