Singles in the south? (area, good, parents)

"Yankees" are every bit as good and bad to women as southern guys. Our family has a side from Mass and a side from Virginia. Both have good and bad guys.

Many, many guys from New England are raised to believe a man's word and handshake are his honor. They look you in the eye and you can trust them. Some southern guys are cheaters and bums. You can't use such a broad brush.

Surfers? Again, all types of guys surf, some raised well, some not.

Generalizing makes you look pretty silly.

yes it is mostly a class thing, and on how one is raised, and also people of faith. It used to be that Southern men were gentlemen, but there were alot who were not, the racist men are not if they can use language and hurt people.

but there are men of all stripes in the South who are gentlemen, we are just fewer than the bad folks these days.

Exactly. I lived in VA for a couple years and when I moved back north things were never the same. I guess when you have things to compare...
