I do like the South and i want to see it keep its culture!
I really hope Greenville doesnt change too much in the next 10-20 years..
Although i realize im probably not helping by moving there!

Like everyone said - it depends on where you move.

I know that here, most of us have known each other since childhood and our parents have known each other since childhood. We have our own group and do not allow too many outsiders in. I think you will find that true in many small towns.

However, I have made some friends that I hang out with from time to time that are not locals. They are pretty good folk.
