Hi. Check out Harbor Light Marina. We have a 50 foot Lazy Days at the marina that we use as our weekend getaway. Harbor Light is a beautiful deep water marina on the Tugaloo portion of the lake (the prettiest portion IMO). Lots of houseboats at our marina and on Hartwell in general.

Hmmm...from what's going on with the lake I think it'd be a smarter investment to go with whatever suburbs they plan to build on the land whenever the whole thing dries up.

I lived off of Coneross Creek Rd. near Lake Hartwell, half way between Seneca and Anderson for a year and loved it. Anderson is a great town with great restaurants but I also enjoyed being able to drive to the mountains in Oconee County (Sumpter National Forest near Wallhalla/Long Creek) or in the mountains across the state lines in GA or NC. Greenville is not too far to drive for work, either.
