Must DO's for Hilton Head at Christmas time??? (North: restaurants, beach)

If we've never been to Hilton Head before, what things should be on our list to see and do at Christmas time ? Also, what clothes are appropriate for this time of year ? Any great restaurants we need to check out ?

Typically, Christmas weather is high 40s/low 50s. It just does not get very cold here. Take a drive to Dove Street in North Forest Beach (near Coligny). It'll only take a few minutes but most of the street is heavily decorated with Christmas lights. Consider taking some canned food for donation.
