Judy,
You need to be more specific. What type of jobs are you looking for ?
How much ( time or distance ) of a commute is acceptable ? Do you want land to live in the suburbs or own land ? How important are schools ?
Some people live in the country and commute an hour to work. Many of them were used to long commutes up north, & don't mind a scenic drive without traffic. Some people want to be 10 minutes from work.

Looking for a job with about maybe half hour communte is fine, we are looking for jobs in administrative office or retail, automotive repair, quality technitian, we are kind of well rounded, we want a small house but not to far from a big city but yet not to congested, we kind of have that here now, as far as schools go we only have one son in high school so that is open. What scares me is not finding work or living in a area that is totally congested with traffic, we still are looking in the greer, taylors area any imput would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Judy, Also check out Chester, I relocated here about two years ago from the north east. This was the best move I could make, low taxes, nice property, and nice people. You can get a nice quite area to live in and go to Rock Hill to work or if you don't mind about 45 min. to Charlotte N.C. where there is even more jobs.

We just relocated to Greenville in November and we absoulutely love it!! Some of the areas you might want to check out are the west side of Greenville and also Easley. Both are very good places for families. I can refer you to the realtor we used she was an absolute god send in helping us to find an area and home to suit our needs. I was also a realtor in Ohio so I know the benefit of a good realtor, who will treat you as a friend or family. Her name is Pam Granville. She has a website URL REMOVED-no advertising just let her know Amber gave you her name and she will take care of anything you could possibly want to know. Good luck and hope you enjoy this wonderful area!!
