Goto DHEC's website.
The state map will pop up and just click on your county and it will tell you where your recycling centers are and what items are collected

Well I'm quite jealous of all of you with a trash service! When we moved down here in August, I asked the realtor what the name of our trash service was & he laughed at me! We have to take our trash to the local "recycling center". There are about 6 or so big dumpsters that are for different purposes, trash, plastic, glass, wood, cardboard, etc...well everytime I go the man who works there tells me just to put all the bags in the same trash dumpster. I had been seperating everything at home so when I would take it, I could put it in each of the different spots. I happen to think that he tells me to put it in the same one to make it easier for the man who comes to get the dumpsters. I don't think I've ever seen anyone but us put something else in another dumpster. I wish we had a trash service too!

Where do you live? I'm in rural Lexington County and we have to pay quarterly for trash pickup. I'm too cheap so I take it to the collection center as you describe. It's quick, painless and saves me about $60 every quarter.
