Here's a shot from our property in Travelers Rest. Actually, it is from the neighbors second floor deck. Our view isn't quite as nice as we decided to keep more trees.

ltc,

Wish you chould have seen my husband trying to not act impressed as I showed him your beautiful Fort Mill photos. hehehe
Now if you could just find some photos where there is a foot of snow....lol

great job capturing the still rural feel of Fort Mill.

question - does it get cold enough there for any of the smaller lakes to freeze in the winter? (thinking pond hockey here)?

rscap

Well, I do aim to please. This is a picture of my backyard taken 3 years ago (keyword here is 3 years ago). It was a freak snowstorm that ended up dropping 18" on us (Tega Cay, SC). While we do get snow...it's not usually that much..nor does it stick around long (gone in a day or two)

Default Landsford Canal State Park - Catawba SC

Here are a few pictures from Landsford Canal State Park. This State Park has a couple of great destinctions..

The 1st: it is the last remaining location (there were 12 originally) of a 19th century SC river canal (that still has most of its major features intact).

The 2nd: also from May to June you can view the world's largest population of Rocky Shoals Spider Lilies.
