No, I'm not saying that at all. I'm suggesting that SC's head politician, like the AIG execs, has apparently made promises SC can't keep, figuring somebody will bail 'em out. Since I'm writing a check to SCDOR rather than getting one, I only know what the OP said. We all know where I'd be if MY check bounced... It's also apparent that Sanford's economic universe is no more closely aligned with the pain being suffered by SC citizens than the relationship between AIG execs and the large group of innocent AIG ex-employees who are now standing in unemployment lines. The politicians are no different from the executives of these despised companies. They shake their heads, make clucking sympathetic sounds, then retreat back to their good life. Despite what the conservative talking heads keep saying, Sanford it NOT one of the good guys....
