Lake Keowee Photos
Already posted a link in the Charlotte forum but thought I would share them here since I have 70 or so pictures from Lake Keowee as well.

Great photos! We are moving to Seneca in July, so I was very happy to see them. I hope we will be very happy there, but by the looks of it, how can we not be? We'll be back down there in April to buy a new home, hopefully still under construction. Thanks for sharing, your photos of Charlotte were great as well. And I see made on a mac Love those too!

itsme2: For the Lake Keowee photos there is a link at the top right that you have to click on.
Gap: I'm sure you will enjoy it. Clemson has a lot to offer as far as sporting events and theater. Anderson is not far away nor is Greenville. Ramcat Alley has a few neat little shops and be sure to stop in the small little sandwich shop Ficottia ByGoshia and Visit Jan she makes a great sandwich and is great to talk to. Good luck in your move.

chadetroit - great job with the photos! Are those pictures of the homes in the Cliff's community? We are going to be visiting there in late April and are staying in one of the guest cottages there, while we visit with our daughter who goes to Clemson. My husband is very interested in looking at this community.

CaseyB: The pictures were from various communities around the lake. I'm not certain but I think the cliffs is on the South part of the lake, is that correct?
We really covered a lot of the lake. My parents live on the southern part of the lake and we went as far north than as the Duke energy plant.
There is definitely a lot of money around the lake the homes being built are amazing.

The Cliffs communities are all off of Hwy 11, the north side of the lake.
The photos are gorgeous, but still don't do the lake justice.
On one of the main north/south axis' the mountains serve as a backdrop while heading north.
Another neat thing is that there are several spots with groupings of islands you can boat through. Pretty stuff. Some of those are islands in the photo. This was a cool rainy day in the summer. Our boat is the one on the right.

I'll second Tony123 statement that the pictures don't do the lake justice. It is really big with lots of islands and when it is clear you do have a nice mountain backdrop in the distance. Also the lake is a nice shade of blue due to its depth so you don't get that brown color that some other man made lakes have.
