Well good God then, what in the world do you consider progressive? Lower GDP, lower average wages, lower household incomes, public education that ranks towards the bottom every year, etc.? Is that really what you consider progressive? I think you should skip Hilton Head and consider Marion or Allendale then.

I don't want anyone to think I'm taking a swipe at SC because it's my home state and I love it. But facts are simply facts. SC tends to rank towards the top of the bad lists and the bottom of the good lists. I hope that changes sooner rather than later, but for now, that's just the way it is.

How are they not retrainable? They can easily go back to school and get a degree/certification in another field. The way you seem to be defining it, no one with a career in any field would be considered "retrainable."
