Default greenville area
I am a retiree and planning to come to the Greenville area to check it out as a potential retirement area. I plan to stay at a hotel or something like that for a week. Any suggestions.

If you're asking for hotel suggestions, you'll get an overwhelming response favoring downtown hotels. The Westin Poinsett, Hyatt Regency, Hampton Inn & Suites, or Holiday Inn Express are all located in the heart of the city.
