Question Volunteering in Aiken

Hi,
I have lived in Aiken since January and would like to do some volunteering in the months to come.
I would like to know where to find - I'm aware of Habitat for Humanity and The Red Cross, but I would like to have other options.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

It's a bit in the future, but the Salvation Army always welcomes bell ringers and in a climate like SC's, it should be a breeze. Many people don't realize that the SA has to hire some bell ringers, which of course cuts down on the help they can provide the community, and sometimes they don't have all their locations covered as much as they would like because of the cost.

The Salvation Army does the most good in a community of any organization I have ever seen.
