Wow.... I see the popular opinions are that the malls in Columbia are head and shoulder above the rest???

I am surprised that Magnolia Mall in Florence did not rank higher, but here again I do not know where all the respondents to this survey are from/or if they have been to Magnolia Mall. The mall was renovated several years ago.. and though maybe not as impressive as some of the others listed here, it has certainly come aloooooong way. Used to work there in my days at Funky Monkey University (Francis Marion Univ) and it had its share of problems. People used to simply dump their teens off there for hours and hours.. but hey, Its Florence, and there was not a whole lot of entertainment for teens back in those days. Today, though it seems to to have turned the corner

Yeah... I know... I meant head and shoulders per the poll title.... I was just surprised that they would rank that high.. or low rather..I wonder why that is the case? I know its perception.. but I wonder why they are being perceived in that manner???

I think he was being sarcastic. For what it's worth, Haywood Mall has 5 votes. So, if we're seeing those kind of numbers for arguably the best mall in the state, in a poll for the worst, I think it's safe to say that biases and such have played a factor in this poll. It's definitely nothing scientific.

I agree. This poll is bound to be biased, because virtually no one voting has been to all of the malls on the list.

Yeah I was totally making fun of the poll. I don't think people even shop at malls anymore do they? Doesn't everyone shop at outdoor outlet centers now?
