mscluso...I can help you in alot of areas. If it is the Simpsonville area then it is a GREAT AREA! House prices in Simpsonville are going up quick! Neely Farms is a perfect example as a house sold just 3 years ago and just sold a few weeks ago had an increase of $45,000! There are other great areas as well. WHat area is it?

If anyone could give their opinion of the Seneca/Clemson area, it would be appreciated.
I like the idea of being near the lakes and mountains. Definately cannot afford lakefront property - so how well is the public accomodated at the lakes for things like beaches/parks/boating?

Hey there! Thanks for offering your advice! I am an English teacher, with FOUR interviews lined up in a few different parts of SC. I have two in Walterboro, and then one in York and one in Chester. If I am fortunate enough to get ANY of these, I will be happy. So, I am curious about the different areas, and the best places for my husband and I to live in each of the areas. I would prefer to not have to commute that far, no more than 20 minutes, and we are looking to rent either a house or an apartment. I don't mind rural, as I understand that all areas are within easy reach of bigger cities. The main concern we have is safety and cost of rent.
Would appreciate tips--areas to avoid, etc....Thanks-

Hello Kat2k,
We have just determined that our family will be relocating to the Charlotte metro area. We have looked into the northern SC area (Fort Mill and Tega Kay). Do you have any insight about these areas? We have a 13 year old that will be entering HS soon.
Thanks

PS: Any gated communities in this area?
Thanks

Hi SSC
Can you tell me a little more about Camden? Is there a better area to buy in? Also can you tell me how children of mixed race would be received? We adopted our children while doing mission work in another country and their quality of life it very important to us. Thanks so very much for all of your information!

Native of Greenville South Carolina
Hello,
If you are thinking about visting the Upstate and need information, please feel free to ask. I currently live in Simpsonville SC and love it! Downtown Greenville is just beautiful and to me extremely safe! On any given night you will see tons of Families walking on Main Street, enjoying the Parks, restaurants and more.
I am a Realtor but enjoy meeting new people and showing them around the Upstate.
