BMW Manufacturing Co. will add 700 temporary workers to its South Carolina work force.

The company said Friday that will create two production shifts at its Greer plant.

Yeah, great news. Go work for them thru a temp service for 3+ years, no benefits, just don't miss a day. Oh, and make 8 bucks an hour when you should be getting paid 18. And people here wonder why their State is so hurt in a recession. Has anyone stopped to think maybe it's because the people in this area are underpaid in the first place? I love the Upstate area, but the laws allowing the ripping off of workers is insane to allow to continue by the people.
