Where are the best skateboard parks around the state, or not necessarily the best, but where to skate when you're in different cities around the state?

There's a nice one (as best as I, a non-skater, can tell; I don't know how it stacks up to others around the state) outside of Sumter in Shaw Park (right next to Shaw; this park also contains a nice RC track and a rugby/soccer pitch).

I'm not a skateboarder, but they just opened the "Hot Spot Skate Park" in downtown Spartanburg last year. Everytime I ride by there are people using it, and it looks really nice and new.

It's hard to tell. I suppose they are similar. A skater would know better.

One thing I did notice is that the kids in that video are not wearing helmets. They're required to wear them at the skate park in Spartanburg. Would think that would be a requirement at all of them.

That was just one guy demonstrating. Not sure what the rules are. I'll let my friends' teenage skateboarders know about the Spartanburg park for when they're in that area. Thanks.
