Questions for Charlestonians about the historic district!
Hello,
Since I was aitty bitty girl I have loved visiting your fair city, even thinking of maybe spending more time there in the future.  If I recalled correctly didn't the historic section of Charleston at one point have large oak trees lining its streets just like in Savannah.
I remember that after Hurricane Hugo(correct me if Im wrong with the hurricane's name ) Charleston's old Oak trees were damaged and eventualy had to uprooted. Does the city plan on ever replanting the ones they lost? Would love to hear what you fine Charlestonians think about this. Thank you for your time.
