Southern Belle is on a distinguished road
Thumbs up Norway, SC information, please

My husband and I are considering moving there in a couple of months, but have never been to the Carolinas. I am employed by a bank at this time, and have been in the legal field for several, several years. We are "middle-aged", laid back and looking for a quiet place to call home. Interested in the religious community and the job market within driving distance.

Can anyone give me any info or tell me where I can get some info?

Wow, I don't really hear many people saying that they're locating to Norway, LOL. I'm originally from Orangeburg County (Norway's county), and although I know very little about Norway in the way of details, it's pretty much your typical sleepy Southern town. Many of the town's residents are employed in Orangeburg, the county seat. I would imagine that some are also employed in Aiken, being not too far from Norway. Being a small Southern town, it's certainly religious and you'll find lots of Baptist churches, as well as Methodist churches and a few Pentecostal churches.

What type of job are you looking for?

Norway is a very small town that would not accomodate your employment needs. I didn't see any banks or industry when I visited there.
