Its not totally bad up here. The Old timers are the ones that are more accepting I guess than the "new timers or young timers" lol. The biggest problem up here is lack of jobs. Unless you were born here or are related to someone who was born here, fat chance getting a job up here. So unless you got a self sustaining form of income your pretty much screwed. Not like we have a walmart up here hiring 50 thousand people a day LOL.

Thanks. That was very helpful re: Camp Crook. In a way, I guess I can understand them. They want to keep their way of life and because they only relate to people they have known for years and years, and really have no skills to meeting new people.

I won't keep bumping my head against that wall. I'm from Oregon and will take a look at central and eastern Oregon. You can find a mix of older ranchers and newer people and that in itself, might loosen people up.

I don't live in Camp Crook. I live in Northern Idaho but when I've visited the locals have always treated me like I was one of them.
