Apartment in Brookings, SD (apartments, live, campus)

I am an incoming graduate student in SDSU and i am currently looking for a place - an apartment to stay. I really prefer near the campus.

Anyone in here who knows or who lives in Brookings who can refer me or will allow me to share their place.

The closest apartments I can remember are those that are on the south side of the south-westernmost corner of campus. I can't remember what they're called. Also, if you go south on that corner, there are some that are just on the east side of the street. If you'd like to target that area, try the 8th Ave. & 8th street apartments (I think that's what they're called...).

If you're looking for apartments on the other corner of the campus, there are 3 or 4 complexes right at that NE corner.

I stayed at the Heritage apartments, about a mile or two from campus but still close. They're very quiet and well-built.

There are dozens of apartments to choose from in the area, but the closer you are to campus, the harder they are to find openings at.
