I have been thru there a couple of times. They claim they have dropped their price from $3 mill to $800,000. I think they are still a bit high. I'll drive out there when the price gets under $100,000.

When I was a kid we used to drive down there to dances all the time. 60's and early 70's that was a jumping town.
They used to have the "Badlands Baja" about 10 miles out of town. That race was held in March/April time frame and really drew a crowd.

That is my thought. Wasn't Rockerville for sale a couple of years ago? At any rate, I'd think about when it reached $150... For property and store whatever else that is included.
Maybe a noncompete so they don't go and start another ghost town.

they're not that extreme. Its just a conservative Christian church, the guy who started it broke off from the Catholic church. They have tried to influence political decisions in the Philippines (what church hasn't tried to influence politics?)

they're not into polygamy nor into drinking koolaid. Whats odd is there is no sizeable filipino community in SD... for me.. thats the odd part... largest filipino communities in the US are in Hawaii, West Coast and NY/NJ
