A memorial to US vets? I don't think it'd last long in this town without being vandalized... Thank you, again debey. That really makes me proud. I'm sending those to my friend, retired USAF, and my other friend, whose son is in Iraq. that monument is definitely on my 'to see' someday list. My "other favorites" are the winter shots of Forestburg. Yes, it all looks "flat" but so very beautfiul. Love all of your picture posts...

Debey, those pics are so nice. That is an awesome area by the Capitol. We were going to go over when they had the dedication even though it was a rainy and dreary day, but we had both gotten colds so we didn't make it.  Wonder how many years ago that was.
You're right, Danny. It does look like a rough area.
SeeBee, that's unfortunate.  Honestly, I don't think that many people around here would be cruel enough to vandalize something like that. At least I hope not.

Debey, I haven't been in that much snow since I lived in Michigan as a kid.
