92 degrees today in Oklahoma, no offence,
It's just seems that Spring takes it's time in the Dakotas.

MK, you sure are lucky today. The only thing is, I'd rather have a late spring than 35 tornadoes!

Great pics Danny. People are going to be looking at all the great pics of South Dakota, think it would be so great to live there and then see your pictures of a blizzard in May and turn and run as fast as they can. Guess that weeds out the weak ones.

Sometimes I feel like a misfit in my own state. I definitely like the scenery in MK's pics better then what we've been having the last couple of weeks.

I'm originally from Michigan, so I know what it's like. I've walked to school on 12' snow banks. Traffic stopped from snow drifts block the roads. But I will say that we never had blizzard like you do up there. Your more open country, a good % of Michigan is woodland which slows the winds down considerably. It's been close to 40 years since I've lived there,
so I guess you can consider me as a weakling.

It snowed in California in 1987. I had to laugh, noone knew how to drive in it.

Glad to hear it. We need all the people we can get here~more body heat may warm us up for once.

MK, I didn't realize you'd lived in Michigan. I knew you had been from Cali and moved to OK so I figured you had always lived in a fairly warm climate. You mustn't have lived in northern Mich. because they seem to get bombarded with lake effect snow there.

Yes, it I lived in the NW part, just below the little finger(Cadillac). The worst storms were in the east. Like the song,"The Edmond Fitzgerald"
I haven't lived there since I was 16. I thaught about moving back there from Ca. it first but employment is terrible.
