I was very impressed, not only with the park, but the entire town. ''cleaned up'', nice lawns, houses painted. It's been 10 or more years, since we'd actually driven thru.

chokecheerys blooming in shelterbelts
crabapple trees in neighbor's yard..
pear trees in bloom!
plum thickets in bloom....just as prety as when they are covered with frost, in the winter...

that picks me up, one thing I'll miss if i move out is all the flowering trees i now grow....magnolia, crapemyrtles,dogwoods.....Glad to see some woody beauty out there!!!

Debey, the picture of the old house is really cool! I love finding old abandoned places and taking pictures of them too. There's nothing more interesting than potential!

this one was ''occupied'' by an elderly bachelor...he went into nursing home & the died, about 15 yrs ago....
I walked thru house, last spring, however ''skunk odor'' prevented my attempt, yesterday..
