My brother and his wife rode over from Gillette today to tour the Norther Hills. I didn't get out that way.

Next weekend I am in Sioux Falls.

Nice pics, Debey!! Have you been to the River lately? We sat there for a bit last weekend and I was surprised at how low it is.

Pierre Bound is on a distinguished road
Well, just 4 more weeks until we fly into Pierre. I have been able to find a few pictures of Pierre on different websites. I am so excited and can't wait to see my friend. I walked on my lunch hour today and here in Minden, LA the temperature is 76 degrees with a little breeze. I love looking at your forum and "y'all" have the best pictures on here. We plan on going to the Black Hills and Badlands. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to drive there from Pierre? I googled it but I know you can't always go by that. Thanks for any info.

Pierre Bound is on a distinguished road
Thanks for the info. The last time I was in the Badlands and Blackhills I was 7 years old. I found some pictures of when we were up there that were dated and of course they were in black & white That would have been 49 years ago. I have one picture of myself and an Indian taken at Mount Rushmore. He worked there, to have his picture taken with the tourists. Like I've said before, I have some real good memories of the time we lived in Pierre. My oldest brother graduated from Riggs High School in 1959. He drove a red Chevrolet convertable. Just wondered if anyone reading this forum might be his age and remember him. His name is Wayne.
