Homestead? I remember that because they had a tv show about a tornado or hurricane hitting Homestead and somehow it turned some of the townspeople into aliens. I got to see the show twice and it was pretty good. We have family in Sebring, Lakeland, Boynton Beach, and Hollywood. Florida is so nice and I love there weather, but like you said, it's just too expensive to live there. What did you mean about having to check into a microwave?
DDD, I work with someone who lives in Mt. Vernon, but he won't be there tomorrow. Hopefully I'll remember to ask him your question next week sometime. I'll get back to you if he knows who it is. He's lived there his entire life so if someone does it over there, he'll know who it is.

Yep, that is the same Homestead. Except us locals don't recall any aliens - except for the Category 5 Hurricane called Andrew that rolled thru in 1992. The landscape sure looked alien after that little storm....
Microwave - as opposed to DSL or cable internet. Apparently in places too far out for DSL or cable internet service, you can hook up with a microwave antennae dish thing directed towards an internet tower (if no mountains in the way).

Thank you for teaching me something new today. I didn't realize anything about the microwave thing. In the Black Hills, it may not work well cause there are a lot of hills all around. But it's worth a try anyhow.

Hi Tug, we have high speed internet in the eastern part of the state. I'm sure a lot of the area West River has it, too. When we stayed at the motel out there, we used their internet and it was high speed. I'm just not sure if it would be available in all the locations out there if you weren't right in town.
