jammie...such a hard question...but I'd have to say a small, quaint town in western SD...somewhere isolated where you could just live life and have no worries

I am loyal to Lennox. Nice small town close to Sioux Falls. The sunsets in the summer are nice and there is an excellent 4th of July festival. Go Orioles.
If it is outside of my beloved Lennox, I would choose either Yankton or Spearfish. Yankton is decent-sized small city near the Missouri with Lewis and Clark Lake, historical buildings, and a quaint, calming feel. Spearfish is a nice-sized city in the Black Hills. I like the trees and the hills. Also, I think that the reddish soil is neat and adds color to the area. The area is NICE in the summer. Cool, comfy evenings and nights.

If it was anywhere out of South Dakota I'd pick Denver, Seattle, Paris, or somewhere along the French Riviera. I've been to all of them and I think they're great!

Danny, you gave me an idea.
My favorite cities outside of SD would be Columbia, MO; Burnet, TX; Springfield, MO; Lawrence, KS; Indianoplis, IN, Bend, OR; and Missoula, MT. I also like communities in the Kentucky/Tennessee area and some in Ontario (Canada), Upstate NY, Pennsylvania, and Texas Hill Country (central part of Texas). I like trees. Beyond North America, it would be in areas of Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, France, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, and Austria.

Spearfish, We always planned to retire there some day. I went to BHS years back. But that was B-4 the Hills were invaded by dudes from the west coast who've forced prices up to where the native population of Spearfish had to move to Belle just so they could afford to pay their taxes. I think now I'd have to vote for Tyndall

That is very true about the Black Hills egg man. There are a lot of people here from California, Colorado, and Washington State.
