Several years ago we were traveling 90 and stoped at a little motel in Kennebec S.D. I believe the owners name was Butch. He also owns a little bar at the location. For the life of me I cannot find his number. I would like to go out and do some bird hunting but I donot want to go out without first comfirming it with him. I have tryed every thing with no avail.

You want to go hunting? Anyplace along 90 is good. Kennebec doesn't have to be the place. Chaimberlane, Mitchel, etc, they're all good. Matter of fact, get your butt north, Miller, Highmore, Rehights, etc are excellent for Pheasants. Lot's of places up there that they will welcome hunters. They're kind of proud of their birds up there and they'll show you where to hunt and get good birds.

years ago, when the South Dakota Game and Fish wanted to get pheasants a little thicker, they put in about 4 pheasant farms. One was just East of Chamberlain, one down by Armour, one North up by Miller Dale. The fourth one went in up by Aberdeen or Redfield. That area anyhow.

Well, the farms were a hit. The pheasants flourished and now there is excellent pheasant hunting just about anywhere East River. So it's just a matter of figuing out where you want to go, what new country you want to explore.

I used to live in Miller and we had great hunting. Now I live up in Sheridan Wyoming the pheasants have been planted up here and are doing really good.

Hi!The owners name is Todd and his wifes name is Barb, they own Gerry's Budget Host Motel and Prairie Dust Bar in Kennebec. The phone number is 605-869-2210. I know all this because I live in Kennebec too. My name is Nicole Choal, I own a hunting lodge outside of Kennebec. Moderator cut: Site removed
Good luck!
