Default Pine Ridge Pow Wow

Is anyone going to the annual Pine Ridge Pow Wow this weekend? There will be lots of food and a pretty good rodeo, that is if you have no interest in native dances, music, & other customs.

That Pow-wow is always a blast. Like you say, lots of food, lots of things to do. They go all out. In my youth, I attended several times. I wish I was closer so I could go again, but right now, me and South Dakota are not getting along.

If anybody ever gets up this way, Crow Agency puts on an excellent Pow-wow also. Not sure when it is.

Are non-natives welcome?

When I lived in Arizona the White Mountain Apache tribe had a great powwow and actually encouraged outsiders to come to it and get to know them. It was awesome.
